The factories of the HOBAS Group work in accordance with quality assurance systems that comply with the requirements of DIN EN ISO 9000. Each pipe manufactured in the computer controlled process is marked with a unique number that provides it with traceability through the production system, e.g. origin and quality of the raw materials, conditions of manufacture and batch confirmation results. In addition to the normal manufacturing calibration checks and the production process control tests, the finished produce is sampled and tested according to a systematic, statistically based procedure, These checks comprise stiffness and deflection tests, hydrostatic burst and deformation tests as well as the longitudinal tensile strength test.
